as most of you are aware, we have an upcoming addition to the pyMac family, which we are very excited about! we had our 12 week ultrasound scan today and were amazed at how much it has grown and changed in two weeks. Jellybean is just over 5cm long, with little arms and legs clearly visible on the scan, as well as it’s little fluttering heart, although it really doesn’t look like a ‘jellybean’ at all now! it is truly amazing for both of us, but those who know Mac in any way at all, will know just how excited he was!
Really pleased for you both to hear all is going well.
As we plotted the growth of Esme week by week we changed her name to larger and larger fruit.
So first she was Baby Grape, then Baby Strawberry, Baby Kiwi, Baby Apple, Baby Grapefruit and so on…
Now that is pretty cool, we are going through the whole name thing at the moment, and I can’t get over how many rubbish names there are out there… so the search continues.
You’re not wrong. There’re books filled with the most boring, strange and sometimes downright absurd names. It’s really difficult chosing just 1 from the many thousands out there.
I bet you’ve already gone through a list of your favourite artists/designers. We found that was a good starting place.
We also borrowed a book called ‘Cool Names for Kids’, that sparked off a few ideas.
